GENERAL RULES

1. Students must have a College Identity Card. The Identity Card is to brought to the College everyday and produced whenever asked for by the College Authority.
2. Students must come to the College dressed in proper and presentable attire.
3. Students must read the College Notice Board every day.
4. Ignorance of any notification will not be accepted as an excuse of not being informed of any important notification.
5. Any student who is absent for more than 1 (one) month will have his/her name removed from the College Register.
6. Students are to note 75% attendance is compulsory to be eligible to sit in the Examination conducted by the College Authority/NEHU/MBOSE.
7. Students are not permitted to change from Commerce to Arts and vice versa during the Semester(s) period.
8. The College will conduct regular tests and will give assignment and project for Internal Assessment of student under the Semester system (NEHU).
9. The College will conduct regular tests for higher secondary classes. The marks secured by HS students in the tests will be taken into consideration at the time of selecting the students for Board Examination conducted by MBOSE.
10. Misconduct or misbehaviour of any kind will be viewed seriously and strong action will be taken by the College Authority as deemed fit.
11. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in the College and students indulging in any such activities will be severely dealt with.
12. Use of Mobile Phone within the College Campus is strictly prohibited. This is in pursuance of regulation laid down by the office of Higher and Technical Education.
13. The College Authority will not provide facilities to hold meeting etc. In the College premises.
14. Students are not to indulge in any activities that are likely to hamper the academic progress of fellow students in particular and the college in general.
15. Students wishing to take a Transfer Certificate will have to clear all College dues.
16. Students are to submit their Admission/Examination Form within the date fixed. The College has every right to refuse the entertainment of the same after the due date.
17. Students seeking admission are to note that the college reserves the right for the allotment of seats to the students as per the availability of seats and convenience of the College Authority. They are also to note that the College Authority reserves the right to refuse admission without assigning any reason thereof.
18. Disciplinary and Examination rules not mentioned in the General Rules will be followed by the College as per the Meghalaya Education Code and the Ordinance, Rules and Regulations of the University/Board i.e. NEHU/MBOSE
19. All terms and conditions set forth in this prospectus including fees and dues are subject to change from time to time.
