PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION

Admission to the Higher Secondary Course in Arts and Commerce shall be in accordance with the rules and regulations as laid down by the MBOSE.

Students must pass High School Leaving Certificate/ Secondary School Leaving Certificate or its Equivalent Examination From a Board or Equivalent Institution for admission to the Higher Secondary Courses.

Eligible Students seeking admission must submit their application form accompanied by:

1. Attested copy of Admit Card and Mark Sheet of the last Examination passed.
2. A pass Certificate and Testimonial of Character from the Head of the Institution last attended.
3. Three copies of recent Stamp size photographs duly attested.
4. The Application forms are to be submitted within the date fixed by the College.
5. No Application forms for admission will be accepted after the last date fixed by the College Authority.

NOTE: 1. Students are to note that Admit Card to the Class XI Promotion Examination and Class XII Selection Test Examination will not be issued unless and until the entire College dues are paid.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR HIGHER SECONDARY COURSES REGISTRATION:

On admission students are to collect Registration form as per notification issued by the College Authority for Registration of their names in the Board i.e. MBOSE.
They are to fill up and submit the same along with the prescribed fee and other requirements on or before the date fixed by the College Authority.
Students from other State(s)/ Board are to submit Migration Certificate along with the form and prescribed fee.
Students are to note that the Registration Forms is to be filled and submitted while in Class XI as per MBOSE notification.
In case a student fails to deposit the Registration Forms along with the fee on the date fixed by the College Authority as per MBOSE notification, the College Authority will not be responsible if the Board does not entertain the Registration Form of such students as per the rules prescribed by MBOSE.

ATTENDANCE:

Students are to note that 75% attendance is compulsory, failing which students shall not be allowed to sit in the Promotion, Selection or related Examinations as per MBOSE regulations.

PROCEDURE OF EXAMINATION

The College will conduct Promotion Examination at the end of Class XI as per the norms laid down by the Meghalaya Board of School Education.
Students are to take special care to read the notice given in the College Notice Board and submit the form for the Promotion Examination along with the Examination fee on or before the date fixed by the College Authority. No consideration will be made in case a student fails to submit the examination for one reason or the other.
The College will also conduct other Internal Examination (s) from time to time to assess the progress of the students.
The Final Examination will be conducted at the end of Class XII under the directives of MBOSE. To appear the Final Examination conducted by the MBOSE, a student must pass the Selection Examination conducted by the College. No consideration will be made if a student fails to appear in the Selection test Examination.
Students declared as selected are to submit the application form for the final Examination along with their Promotion mark sheet and Examination Fee on or before the date fixed by the College Authority failing which they will forfeit their chance to sit in the Board Examination.
