PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION

A. Criteria for Admission:

1. Students who have passed plus 2(10+2) in their respective stream or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board in India or abroad which is considered as equivalent by the University shall be eligible for admission in the First Semester of Honours Degree Course.
2. Students who have passed plus (10+2) or an equivalent examination from any stream from a recognised Board in India/Abroad has the option to change to Arts Stream and the students from the Science stream has the option to change to Commerce Stream only.
3. The last date for admission to the Odd Semesters (Semesters I, III, V) will be notified.
4. Date for Commencement of Even Semesters (Semesters: II, IV and VI) will notified.

B. Documents to be submitted for admission:

Eligible students seeking admission under the Semester system for Under Graduate Honours courses must submit their application for admission into the Semester system along with:>
1. Attested copy of Admit Card and Marksheet of the last Examination Passed.>
2. A Pass Certificate and Testimonial of Character from the Head of the Institution last attended.>
3. Three copies of recent passport size photograph duly attested.>
4. The Application Form for admission is to be submitted within the date fixed by the college.>
5. Application Form for admission will not be accepted by the College Authority after the last date.>
6. The college reserves the right to refuse admission without assigning any thereof.

Additional Information: A. Registration:

A Student shall be required to be registered under the University within one Semester of his/her enrolment.

A. Registration:

No Inter College transfer among the College shall be allowed beyond the first Semester Examinations. Other transfer shall be allowed only on merit of each case.

C. Conduct of Examination:

1. At the end of each Semester, there shall be an examination as per the Semester Academic Calendar given below* :>
2. Evaluation in each course shall be on the performance through continuous assessment and the end semester examinations. The weightage assigned to the continuous assessment and end Semester examination shall be in the ratio 1:3.>
3. The Pattern and scheduled of continuous assessment and evaluation thereof shall be such as laid down in the relevant Regulation.>
4. Students shall be allowed to proceed to the next semester irrespective of failed papers/arrears papers subject to payment of fee and fulfilment of other prescribed conditions laid down by the University.
